As you have seen in previous posts, I underwent gastric bypass surgery in March of 2024. Since then, I have lost over 85 pounds and feel fantastic. By happenstance, I was asked to take out my Driver’s License at the student ID appointment, and as I was putting my IDs back into my wallet, I could not help but notice the difference.
I just thought I would share the difference in images with the hope that my story will help someone that is struggling with their health and weight to consider bariatric surgery as a possible solution. In a high-stress occupation such as Information Security, the Widowmaker is literally lurking around every corner. As I approach my goal weight of 180 pounds, I cannot thank the team at LoneStar Bariatrics enough for giving me my life back.
